Adriatic Therapies provides career training for individuals who are new to the rewarding field of bodywork, as well as instruction for professional therapists who would like to gain additional skills.

Aquatic Massage Instruction:
Level 1 Class
Adriatic Therapies offers Aquatic Massage Therapist and Practitioner training, which includes short introduction courses as well as full certification courses. Adrianne is a Certified Aquatic Massage Instructor, who educates and certifies others as Aquatic Massage Therapists and Practitioners. Drawing on her over ten years at Canyon Ranch Resorts, Adrianne offers you a unique perspective into the practical applications of Aquatic Massage in the professional world. She combines her professional skills to provide you with a well-rounded and exciting learning environment. Adrianne is available to travel and teach anywhere in the world where people are interested in studying this expansive healing aquatic therapy. Although useful, prior training in massage therapy or physical therapy is not a prerequisite to the Aquatic Massage training course.

Bodywork Tutoring for professionals:
Tutoring
Adrianne uses her multi-faceted education and experience with bodywork and integrative health to support, help, expand and fine tune your skills as a professional bodyworker or personal trainer. Adrianne helps you identify and address any educational, physical, emotional, or mental obstacles to your progress and confidence with clients. Adrianne has taught and tutored anatomy and massage at The Providence Institute‘s professional therapy and personal training programs.
Bodywork Tutoring for non-professionals:
Adriatic Therapies is excited to offer short tutoring sessions for anyone interested in learning basic anatomy and therapeutic massage techniques. These small group courses are ideal for couples, friends, family members or caregivers and provide you with basic techniques for sharing healing touch with your loved ones. Hiking Guide Training:
Training as a professional trail guide is an excellent way to expand your skill set as a professional bodyworker or personal trainer. For anyone interested in working as a guide at a destination resort, this training will help you prepare for the job. Adrianne spent over five of her over ten years at Canyon Ranch Resorts as a professional hiking guide, and was also a professional hiking and mountain biking guide at Miraval Life in Balance. She was responsible for leading group and private hikes. She trained new, and incoming guides, assisted in scouting trails, and worked with experienced guides to expand their trail knowledge. She has extensive experience in the natural environment of the Sonoran Desert. She has Red Cross training in outdoor safety, and is Health Care Provider CPR Certified.
Guide training is currently done on an indivudal basis at the rate of $20 per hour. Please contact us to schedule your training.
